Just released from Schmidt & Bender, the new TR²ID reticle is now available in the 6-36×56 PM II’s. This is a pretty significant step for the German optics company, bringing an incredibly well thought out optic to the long distance shooting community. Everyone has their own preferences and needs in a reticle but for those that prefer holdovers, the TR²ID packs some great features.
We proudly present our “Tree-Reticle-Indepentend-Dots” (TR²ID) innovative mil-based tree-style reticle with 0.2 mil subtension which was developed in co-operation with experienced competition shooters.
Experience an unrivalled view of your target – the focus is on a clear view so you can spot the impact

or – just as important – a miss. The reticle enables precise holding and fast target acquisition so you can fully concentrate on the essentials. Don‘t miss the chance to take your success to the next level. Get the Schmidt and Bender TR²ID reticle.
The TR²ID reticle includes competition and dynamic long range shooting favorites such as a free floating center dot and a less cluttered tree shape grid. The 0.2 milliradian subtensions offer good compensation for bullet drop and wind corrections.
The Nightforce MIL-XT and Kahles SKMR4 are incredibly popular reticles for dynamic shooting and its great to see Schmidt & Bender produce another highly capable holdover option in their line up as an alternative to their GR²ID reticle.
Overall this is a nicely designed reticle and I expect it to be a big hit in the competition world paired with the 6-36×56 PM II. I’ll be keeping an eye out to see when this reitcle starts becoming available in other PM II variants as it would be great to see on the 3-20×50 PM II. A RAL 8000 (tan) coloured version of the 6-36×56 with the TR²ID might now just be at the top of my want list.
