Maven Optics are a direct to customer optics company based out of Lander, Wyoming. Having used both spotting scopes and binoculars from Maven I have been impressed with the build quality of their optics and the clarity of their glass.
The optics on offer from Maven cater to a large section of hunters and target shooters. The RS.3 5-30×50 has a lot of features to offer the long range shooter.
Weighing in at 26.9 oz / 762g the optic is considered lightweight compared to other optics within this magnification range. The light weight is truly a strength to the long range hunter who counts every ounce on their rifle setup.
Other features worth noting include the optic being in the first focal plane, meaning that holdovers will be correct at any magnification that the scope is on. The RS.3 also includes a zerostop.
The RS.3 is priced at $1600USD/$2900AUD which throws it up against some well established competition however the features and quality build make the RS.3 standout from the crowd.
The strengths for the RS .3 from Maven are the overall light weight, high magnification range, zerostop and the low price for all the features.
