Just announced by Weatherby is the new Model 307 bolt action range. This includes the RANGE XP, ALPINE MDT rifles and a standalone builders action. Built around a Remington 700 footprint, the range series feature a fluted bolt, TriggerTech triggers, AICS magazines and a tool less bolt take down.

The 6.5 Creedmoor variant of the Alpine MDT weighs in at a very low 6.8lb / 3kg.
