When I first started looking into long distance shooting, I found it hard to know where to begin. There were forums, YouTube videos, and endless opinions, but no clear path for someone starting from scratch. A lot of the information was scattered or too advanced, and I kept thinking that its going to take years to get an understanding. That’s what pushed me to write the Introduction to Long Distance Shooting.

This book is for new shooters. If you’re someone who’s keen to learn but doesn’t know where to start, this is for you. It explains the key parts of long distance shooting in plain language. You don’t need a background in ballistics or engineering. I break it down so it actually makes sense, what a scope does, how bullet drop works, how to adjust for wind, and why all these things matter when you’re trying to hit a target that’s hundreds of meters away.
I know how easy it is to get lost in technical talk and gear reviews. That’s not what this book is about. I wanted to create something that felt more like a conversation than a lecture. It’s written in a way that’s straightforward and honest. Just useful information that helps you understand how things work and how to improve your shooting.

People argue about calibers, optics, gear brands, and while that stuff can be interesting later, it doesn’t help you when you’re trying to figure out how to hold steady behind the rifle or why your rounds are hitting low at 300 meters. This book focuses on the fundamentals. The core stuff that gives you a solid foundation. You can build from there later. I wrote this with the lens that I wish I had it when I was starting out. And if it saves you time, frustration, or a few missed shots, then it’s done its job.
