Zeiss LRP S3: High-Performance First Focal Plane Scopes

Last updated on March 20th, 2025

Zeiss have announced a new line of long-range rifle scopes, the Zeiss LRP S3 series. Details of two models have been released which include a 4-25×50 and a 6-36×56 variant. Zeiss is marketing these optics towards the precision rimfire competitor.

This optic is geared toward competition shooters with standout features including 160 MOA / 46.5 MRAD of elevation travel for the 4-25×50 model. As well as a minimum parallax setting of 10 meters for the 6-36×56 model.

The S3 series will be available in both MRAD and MOA. Two reticle choices are being offered, both in the first focal plane which include the ZF-MOAi and ZF-MRi.

The high-profile turrets and large numbering are other features included for competition shooters in mind. The windage turret also has a locking capability as most users will likely use holdovers for wind adjustments.

The 4-25×50 weighs in at 1040g/36.7oz and the 6-36×56 model is 1107g/39.1oz.

Both of the Zeiss LRP S3 scopes have a 34mm maintube which allows for the high magnification ranges and larger elevation and windage ability.

EuroOptic has the Zeiss LRP S3 series a 2199 USD for the 4-25-50 and 2499 USD for the 6-36×56. This seems like good competition against the popular Vortex Razor Gen III which retails for around the same price.
