Australian Optics company ZeroTech have just released the ZeroTech Thrive HD Micro Reflex sight. The red dot has a RRP of $249 AUD and boasts a max operating time of 150,000 hours. It’s also motion activated, meaning it powers on when it detects movement. It’s powered by a CR2032 battery and comes with an impressive lifetime transferable warranty.
Micro reflex sights are designed primarily for pistol shooters, with the advantage being that the red dot is always pointing in the right place, regardless of the position of the eye relative to the red dot. Red dots are ideal for quick sighting over short and medium distances, as both eyes can be open.
